The beginning of a new year usually means two things: we’re finally going to start working out and we’re going to try to eat healthier. In our personal opinion, exercising is much easier than eating healthy. We don’t mind running on a treadmill for an hour, so long as we can listen to some music while we do it. On the other hand, giving up fast food is a little more difficult … actually, more like impossible.
When we first started going to the gym, we were overwhelmed because we didn’t know how to use any of the equipment. Over time, and after much trial and error, we finally figured out how to use most of it.
One of the biggest mistakes we made when we first set foot in the gym was wearing clothes that made us look like we had just hopped out of bed. Our outfit consisted of baggy sweatpants, an oversized t-shirt, and a worn out black hoodie. After all, we thought that comfort was more important. Though you do want to be comfortable while you exercise, that shouldn’t be an excuse for you to look like a homeless person.
