SIBU’s Sea Berry Seed Oil Is The Only Beauty Product You Need

SIBU

Do you ever get overwhelmed when looking at the countless skin care products on display at your local drug store? There are literally millions of them. Not only are there so many options, but each one has an ingredient list the length of your arm and it is impossible to decipher whether you’ll be moisturizing your face or turning it into plastic. Wouldn’t it be great if there could be one thing that actually worked, was all natural, and wasn’t too expensive? Well, there is.

*shocked silence*

Believe it or not, there is a wonderful little bottle of oil that can help treat pretty much any skin ailment, Sea Berry Seed Oil by SIBU.

Sea Berry Seed Oil, also called Sea Buckthorn oil, has been used for centuries in Asia and Europe due to its many, many benefits. Sea Buckthorn is a shrub that grows in the mountains of Asia and Europe (not the sea, it’s a deceptive name, we know). Throughout the Himalayan region, it is called “the holy fruit of the Himalayas” and was used by the ancient Greeks, Tibetans, and Chinese. It is a common ingredient in Ayurvedic medicine, known to relieve coughs, promote blood circulation, aid digestion, and alleviate pain. Seriously? One oil can do all that?

As a skin care product, Sea Berry Seed Oil has amazing healing and rejuvenating effects. It promotes hydration, elasticity, and skin regeneration, meaning it is great as an anti-aging treatment and is also great for treating rosacea, eczema, acne, dermatitis, and even sunburns.

Sea Berry Seed Oil has become increasingly popular in the USA over the last few years (we are always the last to realize that natural products are actually way better). Sephora now even sells a Sea Berry Seed Oil product, but for $52! SIBU’s Sea Berry Seed Oil is only $19.95 and is made of 100% organic Sea Buckthorn Seed Oil, and is also PETA certified, cruelty-free, vegan, and made in the USA.

This amazing little bottle of oil is great for treating any kind of “problematic skin” issues, but we have found it most effective as a spot treatment for stubborn pimples. We generally prefer natural acne treatments and in the past have used tea tree oil as a spot treatment for those stupid hormonal induced whiteheads. However, as effective as tea tree oil is, it is really drying and can replace the pimples with a dry scab. A few dabs of the Sea Berry Oil on the spot, after washing your face with some natural soap, will make it magically disappear. Well not magically, it does take a few hours. But if you do that before going to bed, then sleep on a clean pillow case, we can promise the pimple will shrink significantly, if not altogether disappear by the morning. And the best part is it won’t be replaced by any kind of dryness or scabbiness, which is seriously a blessing sent from above.

SIBU was founded by Bruce McMullin after McMullin took an inspiring trip through New Delhi and the Himalayan mountains. It was there that he was introduced to Nico Khanna, an expert on Ayurvedic knowledge and practice, and the magical sea buckthorn berry. After returning home to the USA, McMullin was determined to share the berry with the western world. The berries are harvested in the traditional way, by the same people that had been taught the process by generations of ancestors, in a way that is environmentally friendly and sustainable. After launching in 2009 with their initial four products, His Holiness the Dalai Lama personally thanked McMullin and bestowed a blessing on the company for recognizing the ongoing humanitarian and sustainable efforts it brings to the local villages. That’s a pretty big deal.

While they have a number of products containing the Sea Berry, our favorite is definitely straight Sea Berry Seed Oil, as it really is a cure-all for any skin ailment you may face.
